Melodic punk band BACK LIFT will be making their major debut in 2017.
They announced the news at TRUST NIGHT 2016, an event hosted by the Nagoya-based pop punk label TRUST RECORDS, who they have been signed with since 2010. The band will make its major debut in May 2017 on BLACK SHEEP RECORDS, a division of Victor Entertainment that is currently home to eccentric rock band Hysteric Panic, although details on the release have not yet been revealed.
BACK LIFT will also be celebrating their 10th anniversary next year, and they have already announced a series of four shows in their hometown of Nagoya to reflect back on their roots and acknowledge the fans and venues that supported them in the early stages of their career.
Formed in 2007, BACK LIFT managed to hold onto its original line-up until 2014, when guitarist YAKITORI was forced to "graduate" due to family circumstances. YU-PON joined them as a support member that year and was officially welcomed into the band soon after.
