Fresh off the release of
Royal Mix Juice, the first EP from his acoustic unit with
THEATRE BROOK frontman
Sato Taiji,
Dohchin Yoshikuni just put out a new digital single titled
How I love you so today.
His seventh single in total, it is being used in a collaboration with the shopping mall KITTE's
WHITE KITTE 2016 event, where a large white Christmas tree on the first floor is illuminated by various coloured light patterns timed to music. A unique pattern has been designed for the song, and
Dohchin will also be holding a special acoustic live in front of the Christmas tree on December 15th. On that day, a limited CD version of the single will be available for purchase on the fourth floor of the mall.
The song was composed by
Horiko Hiroki, who plays the keyboards in
Dohchin's backing band and who also penned his fourth single,
It's a new day.
Dohchin has described the lyrics, which he co-wrote with
Horiko, as being based around the image of people remembering their meetings with others under a large, evergreen fir tree.
The song is available for previewing and purchase via
iTunes,
Amazon and other digital music distribution services such as
Recochoku.
