Rock band RIZE will release a new single on March 1st.
SILVER will be available in two versions. Both will feature the title song, an EP edition of their previously-released digital single ONE SHOT and a studio live version of Nihontou. The regular edition will feature just the three aforementioned songs, while the limited edition will include the "TV size" version of SILVER and special anime-themed jacket art.
The title track is being used as the ending theme for the anime series "Gintama". As bassist KenKen is a self-professed "Gintama Freak", he had written two songs titled Gin and Tama to be used as opening and ending themes for the series five years ago, before even being asked. SILVER is a renamed version of the song Gin, which he had originally intended to be the opening track.
RIZE just celebrated their 20th anniversary in 2016. A special commemorative video set to their popular song Kaminari can be viewed below.
