LUNA SEA will release a new album on December 20th.
Titled LUV, it will be their ninth in total, following 2013's A WILL. As the title suggests, the theme of the release will be "love". No details on its tracklist have been revealed just yet.
The album will be available in four editions: a CD-only regular edition, a CD+DVD limited edition, and two premium box editions exclusive to their fanclub SLAVE. The limited edition's DVD will include the music videos for Limit and Hold You Down, as well as making-of footage. The SLAVE-limited editions will feature a second CD with live audio recordings from their May 29th show at Nippon Budokan, a live DVD or Blu-ray disc with footage of their fanclub-only concert held at Zepp Nagoya on September 24, 2016, a 100-page photobook, a B2 poster and a staff pass replica.
In addition, the band has announced a tour to support the release titled LUNA SEA LUV TOUR 2018, which will kick off with two concerts at Mori-no-Hall 21 on January 27th and 28th and wrap up with two back-to-back shows at Fukuoka Sun Palace on March 31st and April 1st.
