Fujioka Mikio Passes Away

Guitarist Fujioka Mikio has passed away, his family has announced.

Fujioka reportedly died on the evening of January 5th, from injuries sustained in a fall while he was stargazing on December 30th. He was 36. Best known to international audiences as a member of BABYMETAL's Kami Band, Fujioka was involved in numerous other projects, and he was also an instructor at the Musicians Institute Japan.
