New Single from Kenji Furuya

Dragon Ash frontman Kenji Furuya will release a new single titled Playground / Wanderlust on July 25th.

It will be his first solo release in over two years, as he decided to give Dragon Ash his undivided attention in 2016 because the band was celebrating the 20th anniversary of its debut. The single will feature just the two title tracks. Wanderlust is a song he wrote to serve as the ending theme for the film "Nijiiro Days", while Playground is said to be an important hint at the direction his solo project will be taking in the future.

In addition, Furuya has announced that he will embark on his first one-man solo tour in October. His band members for the tour will be Pay money To my Pain and POLPO guitarist PABLO, Yamaarashi and OZROSAURUS bassist Takeshi, Schroeder-Headz keyboardist Shunsuke Watanabe and Dragon Ash drummer Makoto Sakurai.
