Rock band BARBARS will release a new album on July 11th.
Titled Are you excited?, it will be the band's first full-length album in about five years. It will contain eleven tracks, including Tsuki ni inoru, which is the Japanese version of the US-exclusive digital single they released after their performance at NAMM Show 2018 in California, Rabbit in the Moon. The album will be released on chemicadrive, a label founded by KAGERO and I love you Orchestra bassist Yu Shiromizu.
BARBARS is a trio consisting of guitarist Rioko Minato and bassist Miki Tanaka, who both also share vocal duties, and Jake stone garage drummer Hideaki Iwanaka, who just officially joined the band in 2017. The band was originally formed in 2004 as VIRIDIAN, but its name was changed to BARBARS in 2011 shortly before the release of its debut album.
