Alternative rock band été will release a new mini-album on December 5th.
Titled Burden, it will be their first release available for purchase nationwide. It will also be their first since joining the label codomomental inc., which is home to artists such as alternative idol group Yukueshirezutsurezure. été joined codomomental inc. after they were selected as the winner of the 404AUDITION contest, a joint venture between the label, Steel Street, Eggs Project, Daiki Sound and CINRA.NET aiming to discover and cultivate new talent. The prize they won includes a nationwide release, funding for a video shoot, live bookings and a 1,000,000 yen cash prize.
In addition, été's March single I am was recently made available for streaming worldwide via Spotify and Apple Music.
Formed in January 2015, été is a trio consisting of vocalist/guitarist Okita Yuuki, bassist Yamada Naoto and drummer Komuro Hibiki. They describe their sound as "guitar rock meets poetry reading".
