While they just resumed activities after a one-year hiatus near the end of 2017, rock band SHIT HAPPENING have announced that they will be disbanding this June.

In a group message on their official website, the members wrote that they came to this decision because they have accomplished everything they wanted to do together during their roughly decade-long career. They stated that they talked it over many times, and while this is a band they've been dedicated to since their high school days, they finally agreed that it's time to go their separate ways.

There is still some positive news for the band's fans, however. They will release a final single titled Gentou / Hoshizukiyo on April 10th. The single will feature five songs: the two title tracks, as well as an acoustic live version of Tokyo and live recordings of Photograph and Suisei. It will be limited to sale via the website indiesmusic.com and at live venues.

In addition, they will embark on a goodbye tour titled SHIT HAPPENING LAST TOUR "THIS MEMORY TO YOU..." on May 11th. Their final performance will be a one-man that will be held at TSUTAYA O-WEST on June 17th.
