MORRIE and Kiyoharu to Perform in New York

Rock legends MORRIE and Kiyoharu have announced that they will be holding a special joint show in New York this summer.

Titled MORRIE’s Solitude & KIYOHARU’s Elegy, the concert will be held at Joe’s Pub on August 16th. Doors will open at 9pm and the show will start at 9:30pm. Further details will be revealed at a later date.

While MORRIE has played a series of intimate SOLITUDE shows in New York in recent years and Kiyoharu has appeared at several of his events in Japan, this will be the first time the two men have performed together in the US.

Kiyoharu recently contributed chorus vocals to MORRIE's solo album Hikaru koya, and he appeared at MORRIE's March 4th concert at Tokyo Kinema Club to help commemorate its release. You can read our report on the show here.
