Moth in Lilac Announce Hiatus
Alternative metal quintet Moth in Lilac will suspend activities indefinitely on November 1st.
Alternative metal band Moth in Lilac have announced they'll be taking an indefinite hiatus from November 1st.
The band will officially suspend activities after a one-man live at Kichijoji Crescendo. Guitarist and bandleader Lisa 13 has confirmed she and bassist NaluchaRos will continue working together on a new project of some description. Vocalist ayano, guitarist You and drummer M9N have yet to reveal their future plans.
Moth in Lilac started life in August 2013 as an all-female group called HEART PANIC. Lisa 13 and ayano have been the only constants in an otherwise fluid lineup. They released their debut album M.i.L. in 2016.
The music video for the song M.i.L. and the (unsubtitled) video message the band released to announce their hiatus can be viewed below.
