Ryo Nishikido Announces Solo Debut

Unlike his former bandmate Subaru Shibutani, who decided to travel overseas for several months after leaving the popular boyband KANJANI∞ and Johnny & Associates, Ryo Nishikido has announced the start of his solo activities just one day after his official departure from the agency.

He announced today that he has formed a new label called NOMAD RECORDS. He will release his debut solo album NOMAD on the label on December 11th, although no details about the release's contents are available at the moment.

Fans won't have to wait long to see Nishikido live either, as he will embark on a nationwide tour on November 5th. The tour will wrap up with two back-to-back dates at Namba Hatch in his hometown of Osaka on November 27th and 28th. Advance ticket sales started for members of his newly founded fan club NFC today.

In addition, Nishikido has launched a new website, as well as official accounts on Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Weibo.
