British label JPU Records recently announced that rock band Lie and a Chameleon (aka Uso to Chameleon) have joined their roster.
Their first release with the label is a song titled 0 (pronounced “zero”). The track is currently being used as the theme for the popular mobile game "BLEACH: Brave Souls". Find out where to download and stream the
song here.
The release comes ahead of Lie and a Chameleon’s first major single in Japan, which will be titled Mononoke in the Fiction. The single is due for release on January 15th, 2020. The titular song of the three-track release will feature in the upcoming
anime adaptation of "In/Spectre", which was co-produced by streaming service Crunchyroll and animated by Brain’s Base. The series will start airing on Japanese TV screens and Crunchyroll in January 2020, and it also features JPU Records artist Sumire Uesaka as a member of its voice acting cast.
Lie and a Chameleon were born in Tokyo and grew up on YouTube. Their music video Saredo Kijutsushi wa Sai o Furu was a big hit on social media, due in part to vocalist Cham (.△)'s bewitching
presence and guitarist Sosuke's energetic dance moves.
