First Best-of Album from Wasuta

Idol group Wasuta (The World Standard) will celebrate their 5th anniversary with the release their first best-of album on March 25th.

Wasuta BEST will be a two-disc set that will include a bonus CD of 10 songs chosen by members of Wasuta’s “Wa-Ship” fan club.

The compilation will feature the lead tracks from their 2015 debut through their latest release Shani Muni Ikiru!. In addition to the 2CD regular edition, it will also come in a special edition that will add a Blu-ray disc featuring a number of Wasuta’s colourful, high-energy music videos, which can be previewed on the group's new YouTube channel.

Wasuta recently held their Wa-Ship Kanshasai 2019 event at Shinjuku ReNY, which featured special holiday fashions, including Santa-style outfits and shrine maiden costumes. The group's members also shuffled their normal parts to perform special versions of Tapioca Milk Tea with Nanase, Miri, and Ririka, and Yo Quiero Vivir with Hazuki and Ruka. Hazuki, who recently passed her first Spanish-language proficiency exam, impressed the audience with her performance of the Spanish lyrics of Yo Quiero Vivir, which were originally performed by Adexe & Nau in their collaboration video.

Wasuta 5th Anniversary LIVE will be held at Shibuya Public Hall on March 28th.
