Singer-songwriter SHIHORI just released a self-cover best-of album titled SHIHORISM in Japan on December 25th, 2019. This special release was created to commemorate her 10th anniversary as an anime songwriter, and it will become available for download and streaming worldwide via every major digital platform on February 7th.

SHIHORI was once signed to the anisong label Lantis under her former stage name Sena, and she made her major debut with the single TSUBASA, which was used as the ending theme for the anime series "KishinTaisen Gigantic Formula”. Since 2009, SHIHORI has written music and lyrics for themes for a number of popular anime series, including; "FAIRY TAIL", "The Irregular At Magic High School", "My Little Pony", "Macross Frontier", "Ace of Diamond" and more.

SHIHORISM includes covers of seven songs that were chosen out of over 100 of her works. These include TSUBASA, as well as other anime themes such as Don’t think. Feel!!! from "FAIRY TAIL" and Millenario from "The Irregular At Magic High School". Also included are covers of four songs she wrote for well-known J-pop artists: Buono!'s Hatsukoi Cider, Momoiro Clover Z's SeishunFu, Yoshino Nanjo's Catalmoa and Chinmoku no Kajitsu, her very first work as a songwriter, which was composed for Nana Mizuki.

The album's seven songs all feature new fully acoustic arrangements, and they are also coloured by SHIHORI's background in classical music and 80s anime classics. The songs were recorded with musicians she met in New York.

SHIHORI moved to New York in January 2018 in pursuit of her "Share the American Dream Project". Since then, she has released an EP and two singles and performed at venues and conventions all around the US, while continuing to write new songs for Japanese artists.

This year, she will be appearing at three American anime conventions. These will include New York's Tora Con, which will stretch from March 21st to 22nd, New Jersey's KOGARACON, which will take place on April 25th and Castle Point Anime Convention, which will be held in New York from May 2nd to 3rd.
