Debut Single from JO1

"PRODUCE 101 JAPAN" boy group JO1 released their debut single PROTOSTAR on March 4th. The single has three physical editions and is available for download and streaming worldwide.

JO1 was formed on December 11th of last year through the reality competition show "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN". The group is currently being promoted as a global boy group, with plans to go overseas. In a move to become more accessible to fans outside Japan, JO1 opened up its fanclub to international payment and added multilingual support.

The lead track of the single is Mugendai (Infinity). Its music video was released on February 16th and was entirely filmed in South Korea. The single also includes two new songs called Running and La Pa Pa Pam. Additionally, each edition includes JO1's take on Tsukame (It's Coming), the theme song of "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN". The limited editions contain JO1's versions of YOUNG and GrandMaster. Both songs were used in the debut evaluation performances of the show's final episode.
