Crystal Kay to Release Cover Album

Crystal Kay just released a cover of Remioromen's Sangatsu kokonoka as a new digital single on March 18th. It was also revealed that the song will be featured on an upcoming cover album, which she will release sometime this fall.

Remioromen's Sangatsu kokonoka was the theme song of the 2005 drama "1 Litre of Tears". For Kay's cover, the song was re-arranged by Yaffle, who is known for producing music for artists such as adieu, Fujii Kaze and iri. The cover art for the single features a nostalgic emoji motif, and a new artist photo was also revealed featuring Kay in a red dress.

The cover album is currently untitled. More details regarding the format and tracklist of the release will be announced at a later date.
