Rapper KOHH has announced that he will release a new album before retiring.
Titled worst,
the album will hit stores on April 29th. It will contain 15 tracks, including his 2019 digital single I Think I’m Falling. It was also revealed through his official LINE account that the second track, Sappy, was produced by Skrillex.
The
"Complete Box" version of the album will come with a bonus Blu-ray disc featuring footage of KOHH Live in Concert, a performance held at SHIBUYA LINE CUBE on January 16th this year where he first announced that he is planning to retire sometime
in 2020. The show was also significant because it featured KOHH performing in three different configurations: a set with a band, a DJ set and a special "strings set" featuring violinists and other string musicians. The Complete Box is available
for preorder here.
It is currently somewhat unclear exactly when KOHH intends to retire or if this will be his final release. It is also uncertain whether he means to simply retire his "KOHH" persona or if he plans to withdraw from
the music industry entirely.
