Utada Hikaru to Create Theme Song for "Bishoku Tantei Akechi Goro" Drama

Singer-songwriter Utada Hikaru will provide the theme song for the upcoming drama "Bishoku Tantei Akechi Goro" ("Gourmet Detective Akechi Goro").

The drama is a live action adaptation of a suspense manga of the same name by Higashimura Akiko. Nakamura Tomoya plays Akechi Goro, a gourmet detective who uses his unparalleled knowledge of food to solve murder cases. Utada wrote the theme song Time after reading the original manga.

Time will be unveiled for the first time during the broadcast of the drama's first episode on April 12th. The song will then be released as a digital single on May 8th.
