Masaaki Endoh to Perform "Ultraman Z" Opening Theme

It was announced recently that Masaaki Endoh, a veteran anisong singer and member of supergroup JAM Project, will be performing the opening theme for the upcoming tokusatsu series "Ultraman Z".

The song will be a new track titled Goshouwa kudasai ware no na o!. Endoh composed the music and lyrics for the song himself, and it was arranged by Kyouichi Miyazaki and Ryota Iida of KEYTONE.

In a comment about the song, Endoh stated that he is honoured to be able to perform a theme for "Ultraman", a series he grew up watching and learned so much from as a child. He stated that it even feels a bit like it was meant to be, as he now has the opportunity to give back to the series that helped him grow into the person he is now. He hopes that the song will inspire children who are excitedly watching the new series each week like he used to.

The ending theme will be a song titled Connect the Truth performed by Nami Tamaki. It was written and arranged by Takumi Ozawa.

"Ultraman Z" will begin airing on TV Tokyo on June 20th. Both theme songs are expected to be released on July 15th, although details regarding the format they will be available in have not been revealed just yet.
