Kyushu-based visual kei band LUCIFER recently announced a mix of good and bad news for their fans.
They will release three consecutive conceptual singles in the coming months, but they will also be parting ways later this year. The first of the singles, THEATER, will be released on May 19th. The second, EGOIST, will follow on June 4th, and Byouka will
complete the series on July 7th. All three will feature just their respective title tracks.
They will support these releases with a one-man tour that will cover all of the prefectures of Kyushu. The specific dates have not yet been decided due to the uncertainty of the coronavirus situation, but the final date is scheduled to take place
at Fukuoka Tenjin graf on August 31st.
LUCIFER's last one-man Yakusoku will take place at Fukuoka BEAT STATION on September 17th.
No specific reason was given for the disbandment. The message posted on the band's official website simply stated that the members wish to share their feelings directly with the fans at their final show.
