RADWIMPS have announced the cancellation of their world tour, which was originally scheduled to begin on July 15th.
According to a statement from the band, they made the decision due to overriding concerns for the safety and the well-being of the fans amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. RADWIMPS cancelled five dates in North America. Fans who purchased a ticket for those dates can get a full refund. The band also cancelled unannounced dates in Europe and Asia, which they planned to hold this year as part of the world tour.
RADWIMPS apologized to the fans who were looking forward to the tour and hope they'll have another opportunity to hold one in the future.
In addition, the band released a new digital single titled cocorononaca on June 3rd. The single is available on download and streaming services worldwide.
