New Digital Single from Gen Hoshino

Singer-songwriter Gen Hoshino dropped his new song Oriai and its music video on June 19th.

Oriai is described as a "love song born in the corona crisis". Hoshino continued to produce music during the period of self-restraint ushered in by the COVID-19 pandemic, doing everything from vocal recording to track production on his digital audio workstation.

The singer-songwriter released a music video on his YouTube channel at the same time the digital single was released. The video depicts a man and a woman who spend their daily lives in separate rooms. It stars Hoshino himself and actress Shizuka Ishibashi. Movie director Sho Miyake was in charge of the direction.

The single is currently available on download and streaming services worldwide.
