Tomoko Ikeda Starts Solo Career

Ex-Shiggy Jr. vocalist Tomoko Ikeda has announced that she is starting a solo career.

Her first solo release will be a digital single titled walkin' that will be out on September 9th. The song is said to be a chill middle tempo track, and it was created in collaboration with DJ and beatmaker TOSHIKI HAYASHI (%C). This release will also be Ikeda's first attempt at writing lyrics herself.

The single will be released on tiny_mou, a label Ikeda founded during the roughly year-long hiatus she took following Shiggy Jr.'s disbandment.
