Johnny's boyband SixTONES will release their third single on November 11th.
NEW ERA's title song is the opening theme for the anime series "Hanyou no Yashahime", a sequel/spin-off to "InuYasha" that began airing earlier this month. The song is said to be a fast-paced, emotional rock-inspired track.
The single will be available in three editions. The first press edition will feature the title song and the B-side Life in color, which is said to be a "refreshing, American pop-inspired tune", and it will add a bonus DVD with the music
video, making-of footage and solo angles for NEW ERA.
The limited edition's B-side will be So Addicted, a "trap soul" song featuring emotional rap lyrics
from group member Juri Tanaka, and it will also add a "TV edit" version of NEW ERA. Only available to order until January 2021, it will feature a special anime-themed cover and a DVD with an alternate music video for NEW ERA featuring just the members' performances filmed at the location for the original music video.
The regular edition will be CD-only, but it will contain the exclusive B-side Lemonade, which is said to have a tropical sound inspired by reggaeton rhythms and Latin pop. It will also have a third, currently untitled track and an instrumental version of NEW ERA.
