Rock vocalist Natsumi Ishido will retire from music activities on February 5th next year.
Rock vocalist Natsumi Ishido has announced she will be retiring from music activities next February .
In a statement on her official website, Ishido revealed she that throughout her career, she has been managing an unspecified chronic health condition that was diagnosed in her teens. Increasing difficulties with this influenced her decision to retire on February 5th, after a farewell one-man live at Akabane ReNY α.
Ishido launched her music career in 2011 while working as a voice actress. She released her full-length debut album Brand New Songs in 2014. Her sophomore effort Sono kizu wa machi e kiete yuku followed in 2018. Her most recent release, the double A-side single STK / Kyeon, came out in July.
