LOVEBITES' New Song to Feature in Anime "VLADLOVE"

Power metal band LOVEBITES will provide a song for forthcoming anime series "VLADLOVE", a vampiric comedy created by Mamoru Oshii and directed by Junji Nishimura.

The song, entitled Winds Of Transylvania, will be a theme song associated with vampiress Mai Vlad Transilvania. LOVEBITES vocalist Asami has said the band will also serve as official ambassadors for "VLADLOVE", joining vocal-and-dance group BlooDye, who'll perform a theme song tied to Mai's sidekick, compulsive blood donor Mitsugu Bamba.

"VLADLOVE" marks the band's first foray into the world of 'anison(g)', the catch-all term for anime theme songs and soundtracks. They're also the second 'girls metal' band (after CYNTIA) to produce music specifically for an anime.
