Earlier this year, rap-rock band SUKEBO-KING (aka SBK) suddenly announced their return, a decade after their disbandment. While they had originally planned
to start off with live performances, these plans - even a live stream they planned for April as a substitute for an in-person show - were thwarted by the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, and fans were left wondering whether the band would actually
be returning at all.
However, while they were unable to perform a reunion concert, the members decided to focus on creating new music and improving the availability of their past works. They have created a new YouTube channel featuring
past music videos and live footage, and they just recently announced the release of a new digital single.
A double A-side release, Bukimi no Tani / Captain Taichou will be out on digital stores and streaming services on December 2nd.
The music video for white sonata no.8 featuring PES (RIP SLYME) from SUKEBO-KING's last original album, 2008's RETURNS, can be viewed below, followed by live footage from a tour supporting the release.
