Pop-rock band DISH// was one of the 40+ Japanese artists to take part in YouTube Music Weekend, a program where artists upload content such as live videos to their respective YouTube channels, this year. Their contribution was a brand
new 30-minute live set called DISH// LIVE 2020 -First Step-.
For fans who were not able to watch the premiere stream, the group has announced that an archive will be available on their YouTube channel until January 6th at 18:00 (JST).
This set list for this performance was carefully thought out by the members to serve as an introduction for new listeners who may not have heard of DISH// yet. It features their tie-in songs with popular anime series such as "Naruto" and
"Gintama", their latest single Bokura ga tsuyoku, as well as the hit track Neko, which experienced a big surge of popularity when vocalist Takumi Kitamura performed
it on the one-take performance-focused YouTube channel THE FIRST TAKE. The version featured on THE FIRST TAKE has racked up over
76 million views, and it placed in YouTube’s “2020 Best 10 Japanese Top Trend Video (Music genre)”.
