FAKY's AKINA Releases First Original Single

AKINA, one-fifth of J-pop "girls’ union" group FAKY, recently released her second solo single Gravity.

As previously reported, AKINA made her solo debut in late November with a cover of British singer-songwriter Shura's Touch. For the follow-up, she's reteamed with producer Yaffle for what is the first song written by AKINA to be released publicly.

The music video for Gravity, directed by Yosuke Torii, can be watched below. AKINA was styled for the videoshoot by her FAKY bandmate Mikako. AKINA commented: “The Gravity MV is so different from what you’re used to from me. I wanted to show a more real side of me to fit with the lyrics I wrote. I hope anyone who is in a difficult place can relate to my words.”
