Johnny's boyband
KAT-TUN will release a new single on March 10th.
Roar's title song is the theme for "Red Eyes: Kanshi Sosahan", a crime/suspense drama that stars group member
Kazuya Kamenashi. The drama began airing on January 23rd.
This will be
KAT-TUN's first new single in about three years and, as it comes in celebration of the 15th anniversary of the group's debut, it is said to feature a higher volume of content than the average single. The release will feature
a total of 10 new original songs spread across all the different editions.
The three "Limited Time" editions will each include an exclusive B-side and a new solo song by one of the group's three members, as well as a serial code that will allow fans to watch a music video for the edition's solo track until June 30th.
Each edition will also feature the instrumental versions of its exclusive B-side and solo song. Limited Time Edition 1 will feature a solo song by
Kazuya Kamenashi, type 2 will contain a solo song by
Tatsuya Ueda and type 3 will feature
a solo by
Yuichi Nakamaru.
The fan club-limited editions, on the other hand, will include just the title song and either a bonus DVD or a Blu-ray disc containing its music video and making-of footage. The regular edition will add two B-sides not featured on the other editions,
as well as
KAT-TUN's "DRAMATIC BASEBALL 2020" image song
to the NEXT and instrumental versions of all four of its tracks.
In addition, the group has launched an official
Twitter account and a
special site just for this release.
