New Album from THE SHEGLAPES
Power metal band THE SHEGLAPES' first full-length album drops on April 23rd.
Power metal band THE SHEGLAPES will release a new album on April 23rd.
SEIREN is the quintet's first full-length release, and also the first to feature new drummer Jun. It will contain eleven songs, including the title track named for the mythical temptresses of Odyssean fame. Vocalist Kco Kanye has said the song's lyrics incorporate Latin quotations from the Requiem Mass.
Notably, SEIREN doesn't include any previously released material, up to and including their recent digital single Zanka, which is exclusively available via THE SHEGLAPES' BOOTH online store.
Elsewhere, on June 25th, THE SHEGLAPES will be one of nine bands to feature on Metal bless JAPAN 4 ~ FOREVER, a charity album that will benefit those affected by the 2011 Great East Japan earthquake. In addition, Kco and guitarist CloudBerry are among the twenty-eight performers on its title track FOREVER.
A preview of Zanka can be listened to below.
