New Single from SCANDAL

Pop-rock band SCANDAL will release a new single on June 16th.

Ivory is the band's second single of their 15th anniversary year. The title track was written by SCANDAL's guitarist MAMI, and co-produced by keyboardist Kohei Munemoto. It also features an acoustic version of the song. The cover artwork was designed by Junya Handa, who fulfilled the same role for their prior single eternal.

In celebration of Ivory's release, JPU Records will issue 100 copies of the single on cassette tape. This special edition, which is available for pre-order, will contain both versions of the title track, as well as a translation and transliteration of the lyrics. SCANDAL's latest album Kiss from the darkness is also available on CD from the British label.

Elsewhere, SCANDAL still plan to press ahead with their postponed Kiss from the darkness world tour later this year. So far, they've announced rescheduled dates for the UK, France, Germany, Canada and the United States.
