Tokyo-based DJ/producer duo ANIMAL HACK and Sapporo-born producer PARKGOLF recently teamed up with Okinawan singer Naz for a new digital single.
Titled Can We Fly, the song was released on digital platforms on July 7th. Links to download and stream the track are available here.
Described as a chill pop song, it features all-English lyrics that depict someone moving forward while struggling with feelings of hesitation. It is said to combine PARKGOLF's analog synth with the precise, alternative
sound of ANIMAL HACK's works and Naz's smoky voice, giving it a digital yet organic and vibrant feel.
The collaboration started out during the "Stay Home" period where the effects of the coronavirus pandemic started to become noticeable in 2020. All three artists worked together on the music for the track, while Naz wrote the lyrics.
