Rapper TYOSiN will release a new digital EP on August 18th.
Titled After a storm comes a calm, it comes about a year after his previous solo EP, 2020's blue blue. The release was produced while TYOSiN was experimenting with various new projects, including recording and releasing an
album with his new rock band Help Me Plyz.
The EP is said to mark a new frontier he reached after experiencing a number of meetings and partings, and to be a key linked to his future prospects. Its seven tracks, which include the preceding digital single See Saw, released this
May, are said to highlight his musical curiosity, featuring influences from genres like hyperpop, pop punk and emo.
Producers who contributed to the release include kyazm of pop duo SATOH, his Help Me Plyz bandmates ATSUKI and Joseph Gen, and American producer Charlie Shuffler, who also worked with him on a track from
blue blue. Rapper Miku The Dude also makes a guest appearance on the song grinch.
