SKY-HI will release his first original album in nearly three years on October 27th, and a new preceding single featuring Takuya Yamanaka from THE ORAL CIGARETTES is out on digital platforms now.
Rapper SKY-HI will release a new album on October 27th.
Hachimenroppi will be his first original album in nearly three years, following December 2018's JAPRISON. It is said to be an album packed with songs he created with people he wanted to work with, disregarding genres and rules and focusing
purely on his love for music and enjoying playing around with it to the fullest.
The exact tracklist has not been revealed just yet, but it is known that it will contain his previously released singles Mr. Psycho, To The First, me time and Shiawase feat. Kan Sano.
He also just released another preceding digital single from the release called Dive To World on September 1st. The track was produced by KM, a producer well-known in the hip-hop scene for work with artists like (sic)boy. It features guitarwork and guest vocals from Takuya Yamanaka, the
frontman of rock band THE ORAL CIGARETTES. Longtime friends, Yamanaka and SKY-HI wrote both the music and lyrics for the track together.

The album will be available in five editions, including a CD-only version and two versions adding a bonus DVD or Blu-ray disc with music videos for the aforementioned singles and live footage from his YU GE ZAN MAI show held at Zepp DiverCity on June
27th and footage from his SKY-HI ROUND A GROUND 2020 concert held at Osaka BIGCAT on August 24th.
The final two versions will be exclusive to AAA Party, AAA mobile and the mu-mo SHOP, adding a 100-page photo book on top of the DVD or Blu-ray disc.
In addition, on the September 7th and 8th dates of his Round A Ground tour, SKY-HI unveiled a new remix of me time featuring Shota Watanabe, a contestant from his audition show "THE FIRST" who was not selected for the boy group BE:FIRST but
was instead offered a solo artist contract with SKY-HI's management company/label BMSG. After appearing as a surprise guest at both concerts, Watanabe revealed his new artist name, Aile The Shota.
