AZAZEL Become HADES

Hard rock band AZAZEL have announced a change of name and singer.

The band have swapped their original demonic moniker for the name of Greek god of the dead's, HADES. The news comes as they prepare to restart activities after over a year, following guitarist Kuya's return from a health-related hiatus.

Simultaneously, the quartet unveiled rock singer-songwriter Sala as their new frontwoman. She succeeds MIYABI, who'd led AZAZEL since they formed in 2014. During her tenure, they released their first full-length album 3513 CHAIN OF A, first single DISCLOSE and first mini-album INSIDE REFLECTION.

In addition to her solo activities, Sala is a member of Akasara, a twin-vocal band where she performs alongside AKANE of VELVET☆CHERRY and Pinkish Crown fame.
