Lupine rock band MAN WITH A MISSION's sixth album Break and Cross the Walls I will be released on CD internationally on January 28th, courtesy of JPU Records.
The album, which was released in Japan on November 24th, contains fourteen tracks. These include seven new songs in addition to the wolves' theme songs for anime series "My Hero Academia", the Japanese release of "Godzilla vs Kong". and national broadcaster NHK's rugby coverage.
The international edition of Break and Cross the Walls I is currently available for pre-order, and will be available through retail outlets from February 4th. It includes English translations of liner notes and lyrics, as well as romaji transliterations. Additional video on demand content is also available.
The album was originally conceived as a double-disc release. However, due to the impact of Covid-19 on Japan’s music scene and the band’s own fandom, they decided to put out two consecutive albums instead. The sequel Break and Cross the Walls II will be released sometime in the spring.
Guitarist Jean-Ken Johnny commented: “We’ve completed our first studio album in three and a half years. We never stopped during Covid and progressed step by step, resulting in a big gift of a two-album series for our fans. For now, here is the first album – we are very happy with the result, including the tracklisting. Hope you enjoy it.”
