New Releases from Hikawa Kiyoshi

Enka singer Hikawa Kiyoshi has some new releases scheduled for the coming weeks.

First will be a new live DVD titled MTV Unplugged:Kiyoshi Hikawa on January 25th. The DVD features his full "MTV Unplugged" performance held on August 21st, 2021. Among the 18 songs, he performed acoustic versions of old classics like Aoshi and Kiyoshi no zundoko bushi, as well as his cover version of QUEEN's hit Bohemian Rhapsody.

The DVD will be followed by the new single Gunjou no ito, which will be available in three types on February 1st. All three types features different B-sides and the bonus track Kimi to boku. Type A will contain Tsuzumi, type B will feature Ukiyo koi no damashi e and type C will include Ashita ga orera wo yondeiru. Furthermore, all versions will contain karaoke versions of the title song and their respective B-sides.
