Kai, the vocalist of visual kei band TRNTY D:CODE, announced his departure from the group on January 9th.
The band's official Twitter account posted a short notice about his withdrawal. In a story on Kai's Instagram account, he apologized
for the sudden announcement, thanked everyone for their support until now and also mentioned that this decision was not made due to a fight with the other members and that he will continue making music.
TRNTY D:CODE have been fairly quiet since the release of their second single [HELL]hound. in 2018. While they've had no new releases since then, the band performed regularly around the Tokyo area. However, in February
2020, bassist MST announced his departure, then some shows had to be postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic and one appearance had to be cancelled because guitarist SHiO tested positive for the virus. The band's
latest performance was at DEEGO Vol. 20 at Tokyo Otsuka Deepa on December 13th.
