Guitarist HOTEI released his 20th album on February 1st, and a new documentary film commemorating the 40th anniversary of his career began screening in theatres across Japan today.
Guitarist HOTEI released his latest album Still Dreamin' on February 1st, a date which also marked his 60th birthday.
His 20th original studio album, the release contains 12 tracks. These include album versions of Pegasus and 10nenmaeno Kyouno Koto, two tracks from his 2021 EP
Pegasus. The album is available for download and streaming worldwide now via iTunes/Apple Music, Spotify and other major digital platforms.
The album's cover photo and HOTEI's latest publicity photo were both shot by world-renowned photographer Masayoshi Sukita.
The music video for the album's lead track Still Dreamin’ features appearances from various athletes, including professional boxer Naoya Inoue and Tokyo Paralympics gold medalist Takayuki Suzuki.
HOTEI also recently appeared on the one-take performance YouTube channel THE FIRST TAKE, performing one of his best-known tracks, Bambina, as well as Kochia, a song from the new album.
In addition, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of his career, a documentary film, also titled “Still Dreamin’”, just began screening in theatres across Japan today.
