New Digital Singles from Maki Ohguro

Singer-songwriter Maki Ohguro will release two new digital singles on July 10th.

SPARKLE's title track will be featured as the next opening theme song of long-running anime series "Detective Conan". It is Ohguro's second song to serve this purpose, following on from Lie, Lie, Lie in 2017.

Sing's title track is a piano ballad, composed in honour of the 30th anniversary of Ohguro's solo debut in 1992. The song was recorded in the auditorium at the singer's alma mater Fuji Girls’ School in Sapporo.

Back on June 1st, she embarked on the first leg of MAKI OHGURO 30th Anniversary Best Live Tour 2022-23. She is simultaneously working on a new album, which will also be titled SPARKLE.
