Rappers edhiii boi and TAIKI and singer RUI will release a split EP on July 1st.
Now all 15 years old, the three artists are former contestants from SKY-HI's boy group audition show "THE FIRST", and they were featured together on the song 14th Syndrome from his album Hachimenroppi in 2021. edhiii boi made his solo debut from SKY-HI's label BMSG this January, while TAIKI and RUI have been active with the label as trainees.
The EP will be titled 15th Dream, and it will contain five tracks. These will include two tracks the boys recorded together and a solo song from each artist. The group song Nightmare was produced by MONJOE (DATS),
and it is said to be an aggressive dance tune. The tofubeats-produced track Anytime, Anywhere is said to be a disco-inspired song with the theme "summer vacation" that highlights the differences between their rapping and vocal styles.
edhiii boi's solo track kawaii is described as a love song where he expresses feelings he had in the past straightforwardly. Produced by PARKGOLF, RUI's solo Diamond is said to be a mellow track that features lyrics
about his hopes for the future and worries. It will be the first solo song that RUI has released since joining BMSG last year. Finally, TAIKI's solo On The Way was produced by Anan Kaminaka, and it is said to be an emotional
song where he expresses his thoughts about his future straightforwardly. While TAIKI has released music independently, this will be his first new solo song since officially signing with BMSG earlier this year.
The EP will be released digitally on July 1st, and a physical version will also be available exclusively from the BMSG SHOP and at live venues starting from July 2nd.
