Singer-songwriter/rapper 4s4ki will release a new album on August 24th.
Killer in Neverland will contain 12 tracks. The album is based around the themes "virtual reality" and "individuality". It is said to show 4s4ki "logging out" from the real world and escaping to a virtual reality where she can selfishly
live her own way, while also expressing the importance of having a place where one can be oneself to her listeners.
The album will be available in two editions. The limited edition will add a bonus Blu-ray disc featuring the full version of 4s4ki - Live in Parallel World 2022, a live that was broadcast via YouTube, as well as a bonus CD. The contents of the bonus CD have
not been announced just yet.
To give fans a preview of the new release, a new song called LOG OUT was released as a preceding digital single on June 24th. The track was created in collaboration with maeshima soshi.
A music video for LOG OUT has also been revealed on YouTube. It was directed by Yusuke Oikawa, who has contributed to a number of 4s4ki's other works in the past. The theme of the MV is said to be "liberation from the cycle
of death and rebirth", and it shows 4s4ki sending a message from the real world to a character in the virtual world who wants to go further into the outer world.
