July 10th marks veteran rocker Chiba Yusuke's birthday and, to celebrate, he announced that he will release a new solo album this summer.
Scheduled to hit stores on August 10th, SINGS is his first solo album in nearly two years and his fourth overall, following October 2020's real light real darkness. As the title suggests, this album will be focused on singing. It
will contain 10 tracks, and it will come with a 24-page A4 size photo book.
While a portion of the release will feature contributions from his The Birthday bandmate Kuhara Kazuyuki on drums and his
THE GOLDEN WET FINGERS and MIDNIGHT BANKROBBERS bandmate Imai Akinobu on guitar, it was noted that Chiba created the majority of the album by himself.
In the weeks leading up to the album's release, new songs from it will be broadcast on FM COCOLO's "THE MAJESTIC SATURDAY NIGHT". Love Letter will be played on July 16th, while M42 will be broadcast on the 23rd.
In addition, Chiba and Imai recently appeared on the program "Festival TV on KEENSTREAM" as their guitar duo MIDNIGHT BANKROBBERS. They made two back-to-back appearances on May 7th and 8th, with each including a lengthy performance and interview. Both are available
