PSYCHIC FEVER from EXILE TRIBE's First Album

The latest group to debut from Japanese artist management and entertainment company LDH JAPAN, PSYCHIC FEVER from EXILE TRIBE, released its first album P.C.F on July 13th.

The album contains 10 tracks, and its title is an abbreviation of the group's name. The lead single from the release, Choose One, is described as an "energetic track with West Coast vibes". Released digitally on June 27th, the song captures the seven members' determination to unite as one and aim for the number one spot on the Billboard Global 200, as well as their desire to support listeners in their own personal journeys. The song was performed for the first time at the final round of the largest ever LDH audition event, iCON Z ~Dreams For Children~, which was held at Nippon Budokan on May 21st this year.

Other previously-released tracks featured on the album include songs from before the group’s official debut such as Hotline, Best for You, Tokyo Spiral and Snow Candy. The album also includes new singles such as Bitter Sweet and Spark It Up.

In addition, at a press conference held in Japan on May 11th, it was announced that LDH JAPAN has signed a partnership agreement with Thailand's HIGH CLOUD ENTERTAINMENT to work together to "amplify entertainment from Asia to the world" through cultural exchange between Japan and Thailand. As part of this agreement, PSYCHIC FEVER from EXILE TRIBE will be moving all activities to Thailand for six months from August 2022 to January 2023. The group will be working alongside prominent Thai rapper and music producer F.Hero to create and deliver a "new collaborative flavour of entertainment" in Thailand. The group's stay in Thailand will also be developed as a reality show that will be made available online.

Formed in 2019, PSYCHIC FEVER from EXILE TRIBE is said to consist of the highest-achieving talents from EXPG STUDIO (an LDH-run dance academy) from all across Japan. The members include Tsurugi, Ryoga Nakanishi, Ren Watanabe, JIMMY, Kokoro Kohatsu, Ryushin Handa and WEESA.

The group's first official performance took place at the 2019 event BATTLE OF TOKYO ~ ENTER THE Jr. EXILE. In October of the same year, PSYCHIC FEVER toured the 47 prefectures of Japan in the Mushashugyo training tour, which attracted a total of 40,000 people. They were the opening act for J SOUL BROTHERS III LIVE TOUR 2021 "THIS IS JSB" in July 2021, where they presented their first pre-debut single Hotline. With a “social media first approach”, they are striving to become global artists who are recognized not just in Japan, but across the world.
