Maison B, a new boy group produced by rapper KEN THE 390, will release a digital pre-debut single titled Bringing Out on August 19th.
The group consists of seven former trainees from a popular boy group audition program KEN THE 390 appeared on as a trainer. They include LYU (Ryusuke Kodama), RICK (Rick Yasue), MASATO (Masato Ueda),
REIJI (Reiji Fukushima), TECO (Yusei Tekoe), SHOYA (Shoya Fukuda) and HIKARU (Hikaru Vasayegh).
The "B" in their name is said to represent both a "reversal from the B class" and their determination to "continue 'breaking' the status quo".
The song is said to feature lyrics that were penned after KEN THE 390 held discussions with each of the members regarding the formation of the group, capturing the impressions from those conversations. In addition, a music
video featuring choreography from kazuki of performance unit s**t kingz is said to be in the works.
Maison B are also scheduled to hold their first event, Maison B Kick Off Party, at WWW in Tokyo on August 20th.
A crowdfunding campaign called "Maison B Ouen Project" has also been launched for the group's future activities as of August 12th. Set to run until September 30th, the project has a goal of 3 million yen (approximately $23,000 USD). Funds raised
through it will be used to produce the return gifts for participants, to increase the budget for Maison B's future activities, and to fund other projects and hire new management.
Return gifts available for supporters include a CD featuring Bringing Out and a new song, their name being listed in the credits of Bringing Out's music video, a 1 on 1 online talk with their favourite member, a thank you letter and goods such as
