Visual kei band Kizu recently launched the third season of their YouTube collaboration vocal cover series ICHIGEKI.
The series sees Kizu vocalist LiME cover various songs from the band's back catalogue in studio sessions with singers from different bands and scenes. Each cover is recorded in one take only, similar to the format of the
popular THE FIRST TAKE YouTube channel.
The previous two seasons have included vocalists such as Tatsuro from MUCC, NOBUYA from ROTTENGRAFFTY, Dancho from NoGoD, DAISHI from Psycho le Cemu, ex-ViViD frontman SHIN and
singer-songwriter Seiko Oomori.
The third season kicked off with LiME covering Yume together with Takayuki Tazawa, who debuted as the frontman of Waive and is currently the vocalist of rock bands Rayflower and fuzzy knot. Yume is
a B-side that was featured on the Type B version of Kizu's 2019 single Heisei.
Fans can check out previous videos in the ICHIGEKI series on this special site for the project.
The next artist participating will be announced on Kizu's Twitter account at 21:00 (JST) on September 4th.
