New Bassist Joins LOVEBITES

Power metal band LOVEBITES have announced their new bassist: fami.

Her unveiling follows a worldwide, gender-blind audition process necessitated by founding bassist miho's departure in August 2021. LOVEBITES accompanied the announcement with a video of a new studio rendition of Bravehearted, one of their earliest songs, featuring fami.

The 20-year-old started uploading videos of her bass covers to YouTube while still in high school, building a following of almost 650,000 subscribers. She released her debut solo album Sotsugyo Album in May 2021, and has done session work for the likes of ibusuki and Paris Victoria.

fami's new bandmates welcomed her with the following statement:

“After a long audition process, we are very pleased to announce that fami is our new bassist. We would like to thank all of our fans who supported us during our hiatus, as well as all of the bass players and musicians from around the world who participated in the audition. We are now a 5-piece band again, and even stronger and more excited to share our heavy metal music with you again, as well as to see you live at venues as the new LOVEBITES. That day will come along soon, please wait a little while longer.”
