PLAY! features 13 tracks in total, including new arrangements of their single SAKURA, its coupling track Walking On The Moon and some other previously-released songs like HARE, SST (Shibuya Scramble Terminator) and Battler's High,
as well as brand new songs. Furthermore, the bonus 13th song is an alternate mix version of HARE.

Lead shamisen player and band leader JACK commented:
"Many of the songs were created with the energetic soundscape of the period around 1990 in mind, when rock and street culture were mixed together."
The band launched a special site for PLAY!, which can be accessed here. The album is available for download and streaming on various platforms

The Shamisenists will hold a release event for the album at MoonRomantic in Tokyo on February 3rd, 2023.
